The Long Family web site was originally designed and copyrighted by Webster Web Designs in 2000 for the Long Family to learn about our family history.  The site is currently being updated and we hope you enjoy the new look.

 

 

59th Annual Long Reunion

will be held at the
State Park in the Birch Shelter,
Deep Creek Lake, Maryland
Sunday, July 8, 2012
10:30am - Coffee and Goodies - bring goodies if you can
12:30pm - Picnic starts
 

What to bring to the Reunion:

bulletPlease bring a covered dish.
bulletBring something that is relative to where you live for the Auction this year.

bulletNew Quilt blocks are due this year. 
bulletThe Quilt block should be 14 x 14 inches, and you should work within 13 x 13 inches or less. 
bulletLet the block tell a story about your family, where you live, or something you enjoy. 
bulletIf we don't get enough new Quilt blocks, we will extend the project until the next reunion.

bulletContinue to look for information on Layton Long and his wife, Rebecca Jane Gibson. 
bulletDon't forget there is a monetary reward for whoever can find out his history. 
And bring a picture of the house if you can.
